A black moon refers to the occurrence of two new moons within a single month.
The lunar cycle of a new moon is approximately 29.5 days, which means that, on a rare occasion, it can happen twice in a single month. Hence, the black moon is the extra new moon in a cycle.

I recently received a response from a colleague that stated they did not know what my email message was all about.

My response was for him to read the Subject line and it would immensely become clear as a bell.

Pure as the sound of a bell; also, readily understood. For example, Did you understand the message I left you? —Yes, clear as a bell . This simile, which alludes to the bell's clarity owing to lack of overtones, was already a proverb in John Ray's English Proverbs (1670).

RIP JIMMY CARTER

The USA’s oldest living POTUS has died at 100 years old and as the world celebrates his life of service for a better world.

I had the pleasure of meeting Jimmy Carter, at a college in downtown in Miami as a presidential candidate and later covered his visit to The Sunshine State as President of the United States.

He was evertman for everyone. He served one term in office, but worked his entire life in the service of others, not playing golf or by making himself wealthy gouging American public or giving tax breaks to the rich.

Chuck Dolan was not only an exceptional man, he was possibly the the oldest and richest Irishman and media mogul in America.

Dolan hired me to build and launch New York City. News 12 The Bronx, which he agreed would reflect the community we were built to serve. He was a good man. I wish I could say the same about his offspring.

He was 98-years-old and the founding father of HBO, owned Madison Square Garden, Radio City Music Hall and a couple New York Sports franchises.

But we don’t have to be because it is that very special time we call

The twelve days of Christmas, from December 25 to January 6th.

Before purchasing a home, we must make sure to have the most experienced and ethical realtor on our side and working only for us.

As I search for another home, so our space can be repaired, I have learned one thing… The company we chose to help us find our new place is crucial and if not careful, we will regret it for the duration of our lifetime.

INHUMANE?

Regardless of the health insurance company our employer chooses or the one we select for ourselves, they are for profit organizations.

According to published reports, an overwhelming number of adults say that denials for health care coverage by insurance companies, or the profits made by health insurance companies, also bear at least “a moderate amount” of responsibility for public anger.

SEASON OF THE WISH

As I look out my widow and stare at the grey days of winter, I continue to appreciate the four seasons.

Here’s how to wish for positive outcomes throughout the year:

  • Winter: Reconnect with a mentor or friend. Schedule catch-up sessions.

  • Spring: Attend a few free seminars or adult education classes.

  • Summer: Collaborate with someone who shares my goals.

  • Fall: Celebrate progress with those who’ve supported me.

SLEEPING BEAUTY?

Though Thomas Alva Edison claimed he never slept more than four hours a night, he was extremely fond of naps.

However, did anyone tell him that whenever and wherever we decide take a nap, we should always put it back.

Edison believed short naps boosted creativity. He was fond of 💤 on the grass in the company of many, regardless of their status. They included businessman Harvey S. Firestone and the 29th POTUS Warren G. Harding.
