Get Better Sleep

If you or anyone you know is having trouble sleeping well, the following four techniques may help. People with insomnia struggle to get a good night’s rest. They may be plagued by trouble falling asleep, unwelcome awakenings during the night, or fitful sleep — alone or in combination. They may feel drowsy during the day and yet be unable to nap. Insomnia can leave a person feeling anxious and irritable or forgetful and unable to concentrate.

A prominent Maryland Financial Journalist who’s neither Democrat nor Republican, says a big scandal is now working its way through the current Democratic White House Administration.

And this journalist says this scandal is going to fully erupt before the completion of President Barack Obama’s 2nd term.

If this Maryland journalist is right, this development could change the Democratic party, and our entire political system, overnight.

It could also change Social Security… the entire healthcare system… the Insurance industry… and even the banking system.

COMMUNITY SUPPORTED AGRICULTURE

By the early 1980s, hunger in New York City had become unbearably severe. Religious organizations and charitable agencies had long served their neighborhoods in relative isolation; despite the heroic efforts of these groups, their ad hoc approach had inherent limitations. Many began to realize that soup kitchens here and there could relieve, but not end, the problem of hunger in New York City.

Community leaders from all five boroughs met in April 1983 and concluded that the best way to tackle hunger in the city was with a unified organization that helped emergency food providers and pushed for long-term solutions. In this spirit, the New York City Coalition Against Hunger was born.

The Coalition's original mission was to "coordinate the activities of the emergency food providers in the city so that issues can be identified, prioritized and addressed effectively." Though its aims have expanded and evolved over the last two decades - for example, it has strengthened advocacy and legislative efforts and now provides national service participants to emergency food providers - food access for all New Yorkers has always remained the Coalition's animating goal.

What's Going on Here?

From the Northern Plains to the Rocky mountains. While half of the people of this great country are still enduring winter weather, folks in other areas are experiencing sudden summer and yet other regions seeing unusually strong winds and wet weather conditions.

People in the Midwest do not trust those on the East, or the West coast. Southerners do not trust those from the north, while our politicians obstructionists continue to block progress and keep fighting each other across the isle.

And the worst part is that this is clearly evident, while visiting different geographical areas. Political leaders from some countries are threatening to annihilate humanity. How did we manage to get to this situation?

What the ---- is going on in the world today?
