A KISS

Kissing was like cooking, everyone could do it, but only some made it delicious. If you practice you could become a big pastry chef.

Today, will the long sweet kiss be endangered and become a thing of the past with #Covid? Social distancing made the cheek kiss a much rarer greeting, and polling suggests it may stay that way. Some say good riddance, but others miss the warmth of a good kiss.

Last night, I listened, watched, and learned from two lovely ladies who were communicating over #WeChat about applying makeup.

They are both successful, professional, and well-educated mothers in the prime of their lives. One who is my wife has a finance degree and the other, her younger sister holds advanced degrees in public health. The video conversation was also about the time-consuming and expenses that are required in purchasing and storing cosmetics.

During my time working in DC, I enjoyed visiting the U.S. National Archives and Records Administration our nation's record keeper.

I was very fortunate to learn early on that my USIA office was conveniently located near the archives, an Independent agency of the United States government which preserves and provides access to federal records. It is also tasked with increasing public access to those documents which make up the National Archive. It is traveling through history. https://catalog.archives.gov/

The US Justice Department says it is investigating and believes their email accounts were compromised from May 7 to Dec. 27, 2020.

Such a timeframe is notable because the SolarWinds campaign, which infiltrated dozens of private-sector companies and think tanks as well as at least nine U.S. government agencies, was first discovered and publicized in mid-December, according to The Associated Press reported.
