An estimated 60,000 people gathered in NYC's Central Park to help end extreme poverty all over the world. The weather made it a gorgeous day as well as a beautiful night in Central Park, all for a great cause.

The leaders of Bangladesh, India, Norway and the United Nations appeared at the Global Citizen Festival headlined by Jay Z in New York's Central Park. India's Narendra Modi, Bangladesh's Sheikh Hasina, Norway's Erna Solberg and U.N. Secretary General Ban Ki-moon appeared at the event.

The president of Spain's Catalonia region has formally called for an independence referendum. The Spanish government will hold an emergency cabinet meeting to challenge the referendum, which they say is unconstitutional.

Airs strike against extremists in Syria and Iraq grow, as the US-led coalition now includes Britain, Denmark and Belgium.

European countries are taking part only in the Iraq part of the military campaign, leaving the Syria operation to US and five Arab allies who began conducting airstrikes on Tuesday.

Maintain close connections with friends and family members. Breast cancer survivors often isolate themselves, thus cutting themselves off from interactions that can be healing.

Consider activism: Becoming an advocate for causes that will help future survivors of breast cancer can be very empowering.

Following a lengthy amount of suggestions and speculation, North Koreans have finally admitted their fat cat dictator Kim Jong un is less than well and it could be GOUT. North Korea confirms he is suffering discomfort and it could be as a result of his addiction to Swiss cheese was revealed. His favorite cheese is reportedly Emmental.

Kim Jong-un's weight has ballooned in recent months thanks in part to an addiction to Swiss cheese. He has been struck down by a mystery illness, according to his Pyongyang propaganda machine, which says simply that he is suffering from discomfort.

The prime minister of Iraq says intelligence forces claim credible information has been uncovered about imminent plots by the Islamic State to launch attacks on subway systems in New York City and Paris.

Iraqi Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi told reporters at a meeting of world leaders at the United Nations General Assembly that officials were made aware of these plots, but noted that they had not yet been thwarted.
