Democracy, Democracia, anyway we spell it. It is woven into the social fiber of our being as American citizens of this Republic.

Some trends last longer than others. Democracy will be here forever and we have our elders. They sacrificed and laid down their lives for this great nation.

For example, some versions of alternative facts were an instant joke and truly unpopular, others catch on for a while and then we moved on.

Former US President Barack Obama said “people are dying” due to disinformation on social media, pointing to the COVID-19 pandemic, as he delivered remarks at Stanford University on the threats posed by disinformation.

POTUS Is holding a global group consisting of 100 plus nations which support Democracy, and the Communists are not very happy.

President Biden took office amid the biggest #American political crisis in decades, hosts representatives of more than 100 countries for a democracy summit that is drawing fire from the usual suspect, namely China and Russia.

The worldwide event, held via video link because of the coronavirus pandemic, is billed by the White House as the USA of leadership in an existential struggle between democracies and powerful autocracies or dictatorships.

The impacts of 911 are still being felt, yet others today are doing far worse damage and causing more deaths in the name of political ideology than the carnage caused by the attacks on September 11, 2001.  

First, the insurrectionists on January 6, but instead of saying never forget this seditious act. Let us ask ourselves why we’re not the unified humanity we need to be in order to prevent another blight on history?

There were various news media websites, including the New York Times and CNN crashing across the globe in a wider outage.

Multiple sites, including some government platforms went down unexpectedly and have now reportedly reemerged. Most are operated by news outlets and include the Financial Times, and Bloomberg News and others that were down across the World Wide Web.
