Trump Lost Once Again

Submitted by ub on

Donald Trump’s tax records are now in the hands of the New York district attorney. Prosecutors obtained the “millions of pages of documents” on Monday, just hours after the Supreme Court denied Trump's last-ditch effort to keep the records private.

Bonnie and Clyde were an unstoppable team. The ragtag bank robber duo were inspiring legends everywhere they went.

Bonnie Elizabeth Parker and Clyde Champion Barrow were lovers who traveled the Central United States with their gang during the Great Depression. They were known for their bank robberies, although they also robbed small stores and rural businesses.

SCOTUS TRAPS TRUMP

This is a significant defeat for Trump, and we have the US Supreme Court to thank after declining to halt the turnover of his tax records in a New York state prosecution.

SCOTUS action is the culmination of a lengthy legal battle that had reached the high court once before. This second time puts his taxes on the firing line.

There are explanations why Trump is sitting at home on his gold toilet while his lawyers speak for him, instead of personally testifying.

He is not participating in his own Senate trial because he may end up on a criminal trial and is scared of showing up and saying anything at his impeachment trial that can be used to convict him.

How can a worthwhile defense attorney mount a case to defend a person whose acts are indefensible and insists on nonexistent data?

Then to add insult to injury, he reportedly refuses to pay his last legal bills placing future fees in serious doubt. Trump’s top lawyers abandoned him because most American voters feel what he did can not be defended, excused or justified.

Sedition is overt conduct that tends towards the rebellion against the American government. It includes subversion of the US Constitution and incitement of discontent toward, or rebellion against, established authority.

How can We The People expect these seditionists to convict Lame Duck Donald if some of the members of the Senate jury were members of the criminal act?

Is there a Trump treason troupe that has now spread to 45 members of the Senate and over twice as many US Congress members?

Senators were sworn in as jurors in former President Trump’s impeachment trial, and then Republicans forced a vote on the constitutionality of the process.

Americans Most Wanted

The Federal Bureau of Investigation released a Most Wanted poster featuring 10 suspects being sought in part of the violent siege on the Capitol. Over 150 have already been arrested and the number keeps growing.

Interestingly, some are wearing red Make America Great Again hats and one appears to be wearing a hoodie advertising the January six Capitol invasion that turned into a failed insurrection. The FBI said all 10 men made unlawful entry into the building.

A Date To Remember

On this date in history, USA serial mass murderer Ted Bundy was executed at the Florida State Prison by the electric chair for his multiple crimes. To me, he was public enemy number one.

Theodore Ted Bundy was born in Burlington, Vermont, but he grew up with his grandparents in Philadelphia, PA. Although Bundy had a complicated childhood, to say the least, having grown up thinking his mother was his sister and his grandparents were his parents to avoid social stigma since his father was unknown and nowhere to be found.
