Well, not yet, but perhaps soon, now that the Parker Solar Probe is a NASA robotic spacecraft en route to probe the outer corona of the Sun. It will approach to within 8.86 solar radii from the "surface" of the Sun and will travel, at closest approach, as fast as 700K km/h.

This one is special because my only grandson is named Parker. Thank God for Natasha, Charles, and NASA - Godspeed Parker.
