Tornado and severe thunderstorm watches are in place through Saturday night for portions of North Dakota, South Dakota and Minnesota. Leonard Gold, Captain, USAAC - Retired US Air Corps Decorated Fighter Pilot passed away today, following a long and distinguished career. His granddaughter Diana told me he died in peace, after an active 95 years.

It has now been three weeks since prisoners escaped from NY State penitentiary. Officials estimate there have been more than 1,000 members of law enforcement involved in the massive manhunt for the convicted murderers who escaped from a New York State prison three weeks ago.

Less than half of the people surveyed understood the definition of sun factor protection (SPF) and only seven percent knew what to look for on a label if they wanted a sunscreen that offers protection against early skin aging.
"We need to do a better job of educating people about sun protection and make it easier for them to understand labels," said Dr. Roopal Kundu, lead author of the study.
