Yirong Chen-Soto and Roberto FE Soto married four years and still going strong. Today is our fourth wedding anniversary and to celebrate with all of you, we're sharing the following images.

While couples around the world are splitting up in record numbers, Yirong and I are delighted we tied up that proverbial knot. And with our Lord's blessings and your support, we'll live, laugh and love together forever.

You know you're getting old when your grandson goes to his first day of Kindergarten. This preschool educational approach is traditionally based on playing, singing, practical activities such as drawing, and social interaction as part of the transition from home to school.

Parker and I enjoyed playing digital hide and seek over the summer, and when I sent him a text message, he quickly recorded a response saying... I can't read yet, GB. He calls me that, which is short for Grandpa BoB.

The attack on an Islamic Center in Bloomington, Minnesota was an act of terror, according to Governor Mark Dayton, who said so during his visit to the site. Dayton calls Bloomington mosque blast an act of terrorism. http://strib.mn/2hyOrlj

National Lighthouse Day recognizes efforts to preserve lighthouses as important historical symbols in America by
paying tribute to lighthouses from sea to shining sea.

Today is National Lighthouse Day, a good time for trivia about the 400-plus maritime markers. Their purpose in today's digital age remains the same as when a rudimentary beacon went up in Massachusetts in 1673 keeping ships from running aground.

Establishing a federal system of lighthouses was one of the earliest acts of the first gathering of Congress, passed on Aug. 7, 1789. To commemorate, they're on vacation.
