The story goes something like this... Before dying and elderly person told their child: This is your grandfather's watch and is a couple of hundred years old. But before I give it to you, please go to the watch shop and see how much they will offer you.

The child went, and then came back, and said the watchmaker offered 6 dollars because it's old.

The old person said: go to the coffee shop.

He went and then came back, and said: they offered 3 dollars.

The old man said: Go to the museum and show that watch.

In our practice of transparency, we're pointing out that UB was born on October 12, which was once known as Columbus Day, but years ago it was changed by President Richard Nixon so it could be bundled into a three day weekend on the following Monday.

Columbus Day is a national holiday in many countries of the Americas and elsewhere which officially celebrates the anniversary of Christopher Columbus's arrival in the Americas on October 12, 1492.

Freedom stands for something greater than just the right to act however we choose. it stands for securing that everyone has an equal opportunity for life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.

To most reasonable people, freedom means more than just ‘free to do whatever I want’. Taken literally, that approach would produce anarchy—every man, woman, and child for himself or herself. Fortunately, none of us has to live that way, unless in Syria, Somalia or any other disaster area.

My family is safe, thank God, but others are in the path of another deadly inferno, which has returned to Southern California.

Will the 2019 wildfires surpass last year's destructive path? The wildfire season was the deadliest wildfire season ever recorded in California, with a total of 8,527 fires burning 1,893,913 acres.

A red flag warning is in effect over portions of The Southland as deadly wildfires whipped by the treacherous Santa Ana winds damaged over 33 homes and forced the evacuation of more than 100K.
