Electoral College Failure

Submitted by ub on Fri, 08/23/2019 - 10:12

The Electoral College is a mechanism established by the #USA Constitution for the election of the president and vice president of the United States by small groups of appointed representatives, electors, from each state, including the District of Columbia.

Some say #ElectoralCollege was cooked up by slave states included in our Constitution to hold onto power. What say you?

Thank God for its Friday and it could not have arrived any sooner. What a week, what a month, what a year, what a strange trip its been.

A weird week of poor presidential performance which was unusually madcap, manic, and its not going to get any better soon. As the whole world is watching with a collective OMG - WTF - TGIF.

Sharks aren't dead-eyed killers. They vary from anvil-headed lurkers to plant-eating Floridians. Biologists see distinctive behaviors in sharks, including whale sharks and great whites.

Sharks have social lives. They have a sixth sense, some live in schools, with a few which have lived longer than the #USA its founding, a civil war, two world wars... etc.

Bully Pulpit Blues

Who definitely fears #Russia #NothKorea #NRA but attacks #FederalReserve #Elections #DanishPrimeMinister #Polls and many other important factors? Therefore, the best he can come up with is to simply change the narrative abusing the bully pulpit.

First, he says one thing and the next day he contradicts himself. Why does a bully who the media gave the pulpit to, go after the press, blue states, and many others? Why can't he focus on huge problems and solve them? Is he not capable?

How can any problems be fixed, improved or changed if a person on the top does not read or listen because he thinks he's smarter than anyone else? #VoxPop Who calls himself a very stable genius? How many real geniuses call themselves that? Think Einstein, Gates, Hawking, genius... none of these guys ever felt compelled to tell others that. They did not say they were.
