If you are out and in the right mood for star, or moon gazing tonight is a perfect time to catch a glimpse of... Its a bird, its a plane, no its Supermoon and tonight @ 11:34 EDT will be the best time, but not everyone will have a super view.

So remember, tonight the moon will be at the closest point to the Earth in its orbit, making it look 14% bigger and 30% brighter than usual. That’s what scientists call called perigee, which scientists have nicknamed "Supermoon."

The night sky will give another new meaning moonshine.

Stressing the need for an integrated response to terrorism, UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon says Member States will decide to create the position of a UN Counter-Terrorism Coordinator to promote better coordination, collaboration and cooperation among all players.

“By working together – from strengthening law enforcement to tackling the underlying drivers of extremism – we can greatly reduce this major threat to peace and security,” Mr. Ban told the Security Council, during its debate on threats to international peace and security caused by terrorist acts.

NYC 911 Emergency response system appears to need a life saving review. A newly released study finds questionable response time and lack of cooperation between NYPD and NYFD. The report called on the city to calculate response times starting with the moment a person calls 911 and ending with the arrival of units to the scene of the emergency.
