CNR PRESIDENT Judith Huntington has officially assumed her new tittle at the College of New Rochelle. She now becomes the 13th president in the College's 108-year history, as well as the first lay woman to be selected.

The Bronx Borough President supports the creation of a business improvement district (BID) for the neighborhood of Westchester Square. In addition, Bronx Community Boards #10 and #11, as well as the Bronx Borough Board have both voted unanimously to support the creation of the BID.
NYC Council Member James Vacca will join P.S. 83 students and faculty to unveil a new playground at the Morris Park school funded in part with a $200,000 grant Vacca secured through the City Council.
The much-needed upgrade ― which includes a new play structure, benches, a kickball diamond, a two lane running track, and a basketball hoop, as well as line games such as hopscotch, Skelly, a jump zone for jump rope and an alphabet and number grid ― was designed and built by the organization Out2Play.
