The Mississippi River is the second-longest river and chief river of the second-largest drainage system in North America.

The Mississippi is second only to the Hudson Bay drainage system. Watch the incredible time-lapse video of the $1.2 billion I-74 Mississippi River Bridge project as it rises up out of the Mississippi River.

EarthCam captured over a million images of the 8-lane bridge, which sees over 80,000 vehicles cross it daily via I-74, and spans from Bettendorf, IA to Moline, IL.

She first won attention for her role in Fantastic Voyage, after which she won a contract with 20th Century Fox. They lent her contract to the British studio Hammer Film Productions, for whom she made One Million Years B.C.
