Police officials in Massachusetts have linked a 14-year-old high-school student to the murder of math teacher 24 year old Colleen Ritzer through video surveillance and his own words.

HS freshman Philip Chism was charged as an adult for first-degree murder. He was ordered held without bail in Salem, Massachusetts.

A criminal complaint states authorities "learned from an interview of the juvenile suspect and video surveillance recovered at the school" that the suspect assaulted and killed Ritzer and then dumped her body.

Tony proudly says he is from The Bronx and claims to hail from Crotona Avenue. Named after the Greek colony of Croton and known for its Olympic athletes, Crotona Park has served the Bronx community steadily since its purchase by the City way back in 1888.

On October 29, 2012 City Island lost Tony's Pier Restaurant, This popular place burned down during Hurricane Sandy. There is a new building, owned and operated by the same great family.

www.Healthcare.gov

An Internet domain name and its associated ip address can only handle
a finite amount of traffic per second.

Imagine the 405 freeway with 1 exit and everyone wants to use it.

Well you can only exit 1 lane at a time.

What are you gonna do.

WAIT

Same thing the ip address is the exit.
only so many people per second can connect.

what they really need to do is have 1 page with 50 links on it.
this page could be served to that many folks.

the 50 links would be to: NY.healthcare.gov, fl.healthcare.gov, ca.healthcare.gov.

HIGHER WATER PRICES?

Why is NYC's Mayor planning to raise water fees once again?

There was the 5.6% rate hike this summer and a 7% increase the previous year.

NYC water bills have increased 78% since 2005, with double-digit annual increases in 2008, 2009, 2010 and 2011.

The city took in a record $3.3 billion in water invoices during the fiscal year that just ended. This is a whopping increase from the $2.1 billion collected in 2008.

Why are these water fees so high? Are NYC businesses and residents being soaked?

Since the 9/11/01 terrorist attacks, several deficiencies have surfaced in NYC’s emergency response system.

As part of a broad overhaul of the city’s communications network, the Department of Design and Construction is building a new 911 call center in the Bronx on a site adjacent to the Hutchinson River Parkway.

This Public Safety Answering Center will provide a robust facility for managing tragedies large and small.
