In 1999, before the millennium, I was hired by The Associated Press to help establish APTN North America and run the Television News Bureau. In 2005 I requested and received early retirement when I felt it was perfect timing and I had given all to news gathering . If we have the ambition and drive, then we must continue on. At 65, anyone can retire, but we can give back to society in many ways. Be on a teacher, or a mentor.. However we feel we can contribute. Life does not end at retirement. I transformed it into a new beginning.
