The Metropolitan Transit Authority now claims that they will begin hunting down subway rats after one of those notorious tunnel dwellers clawed a lady's leg on The A Train near Columbus Circle.
The free riding disgusting rat reportedly held strap-hangers hostage during their non stop subway ride from Harlem to Columbus Circle.

As a result yesterday, an elegantly dressed commuter felt that she had to drop her dress pants even though she was standing before a car full of NYC commuters after a dirt rat darted up her trouser leg.

United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon today urged countries to boost their efforts to protect the world’s oceans, which are threatened by overfishing, toxic waste, and climate change.

“We must do more for our world’s oceans, which are threatened by pollution, depleted fishery resources, the impacts of climate change and the deterioration of the marine environment,” Mr. Ban said in his message marking World Oceans Day, which also coincides with the 30th anniversary of the UN Convention on the Law of the Sea – the so-called ‘constitution of the oceans.’

Tomorrow at 10A, NYC Parks & Recreation Commissioner Adrian Benepe will join President of the New York Junior League Lisa Hathaway Stella, Assembly Member Brian Kavanagh, Council Member Rosie Mendez, and Chair of the Community Board 3 Parks Committee Thomas Yu to thank NYJL volunteers and invite the community to celebrate the completion of this project. A tree will be planted at the event as part of the City’s MillionTreesNYC efforts. There will also be activities including a musical performance, face painting, and track and field relays.

AT SECURITY COUNCIL’S REQUEST, BAN EXPLORES A ‘VARIETY OF OPTIONS’ FOR SYRIA

At the request of the Security Council, Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon will soon put forward a range of options for resolving the crisis in Syria.

“No one can predict how the situation in Syria will evolve. We must be prepared for any eventuality; we must be ready to respond to many possible scenarios,” Mr. Ban told reporters at UN Headquarters in New York on Thursday afternoon. “At the request of the Security Council, I will soon present a variety of options for the way ahead.”
