17 percent of Republicans, including 23 percent of conservative Republicans, said in a 2019 @pewjournalism  survey that they'd gotten political news from Rush Limbaugh in the prior week.

Ash Wednesday is an annual holy day celebrated by Christians with prayers. It is preceded by Shrove Tuesday and falls on the first day of Lent, the six weeks of penitence before Easter.

Ash Wednesday is traditionally observed by Western Christians as a solemn reminder of human mortality and the need for reconciliation with God. 

Ash Wednesday marks the beginning of the penitential Lenten season. It is commonly observed with ashes and fasting.

Juan Azarías Pacheco Knipping, known as Johnny Pacheco, was a Dominican musician, arranger, composer, bandleader, and record producer.

Pacheco became one of the leading exponents of a new dance fad at the time called the pachanga, a blend of Cuban rhythms and merengue, that propelled him to worldwide notoriety and founder of The Fania All-Stars.

Talk To Strangers

Don't Talk to Strangers, could be the worst advice ever today. Assertiveness develops good social skills, and not having fear of strangers, promotes safety, not to mention meeting beautiful humans.

Don't get me wrong... Our mother's advice was good once.  As a father and grandpa, I want safety more than anything to protect them as best I can. However, avoiding strangers and social interaction ends up sending the wrong message in today's environment. 

Deep States Freeze

Over 160 million Americans and millions all over the world are under a deep state freeze, with the worst to come with climate change.

In the USA a massive winter storm is spreading from the southern Plains to the Northeast through Tuesday with snow, sleet, and freezing rain. Expect significant travel disruptions and power outages. Severe weather is also expected with this storm in parts of Georgia and Florida. Meanwhile, arctic air with frigid temperatures and dangerous wind chills will remain over the central third of the U.S. this entire week.

City Images condemns all incidents of human violence across this entire world, no matter where or who they look like.

The recent attacks are a part of a disturbing trend of harassment and violence targeting not only the elderly but also African Americans, Asian Americans, Muslim Americans, Hispanic Americans and any other targeted groups exacerbated by xenophobia and discrimination.

Lunar New Year 農曆新年 marks the first day of the year in the lunar calendar. The celebration generally runs for 15 days, with each day having special meaning and traditions to honor. The days' significance and customs vary between regions and beliefs. Many of the meanings also come from legends and folktales passed down from generation to generation. Among the many myths, there is one about Nüwa 女媧, the goddess who created the world. It is believed that she spent the first six days creating animals, the seventh-day creating humans, and the eighth day creating grains.

US Senate votes to acquit former President Trump on an article of impeachment for "incitement of insurrection." After voting to acquit, #MoscowMitch McConnell was slamming Trump for his lies leading up to Jan 6 and the violence at the Capitol. McConnell’s vote to convict could have changed everything, but he may have left his spine in Kentucky.
