Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, also known by her initials, AOC, is an American politician and activist. As a Democratic Party Superstar, this Latina leader has been the U.S. Representative for my NYC district, New York's 14th Congressional since 1/3/19.

They are warning that Spring flooding becomes unprecedentedly. Following a wet Winter, many parts of the United States of America are at risk of at least minor flooding during this Spring.

While most people know Ellen DeGeneres from her daytime television show, it’s easy to forget that she was successful long before. After getting her start as a stand-up comedian in the 1980s, DeGeneres landed her own sitcom, Ellen. The show was so successful that many people considered it the “female Seinfeld.”

Lying In State vs Lying To The State

Lying in state is an honor reserved for select elected officials and military officers. They are granted the honor of having their casket placed in the Rotunda of the U.S. Capitol for public viewing. Members of the armed forces guard the casket, each representing one of the branches, and periodically rotate. Customarily, only Presidents, military commanders, and members of Congress lie in state. Contrary to POTUS claims, the National Cathedral likely approved McCain's state funeral arrangements, and authorization from Congress is needed for lying in state at the Capitol.

Detention Without Representation

Who is really well represented in immigration court? The odds of obtaining representation for newly arrived immigrants appearing in federal court has varied over the years. However, their rights appear to be slipping in recent years.

Also, immigrants in detention centers are often hundreds of miles away from legal assistance. Only a tiny percentage of detained immigrants have lawyers, leaving them to stay in the #USA and fend for themselves.

The real emergency is Africa, The Republic of Mozambique is in Southeast Africa bordered by the Indian Ocean to the east, Tanzania to the north, Malawi and Zambia to the northwest, Zimbabwe to the west, and Swaziland and South Africa to the southwest. It is separated from the Comoros, Mayotte, and Madagascar by the Mozambique Channel to the east. Trump reportedly called them Shit-hole Countries.

As the rain stops, and floodwaters go away, we begin to uncover the long term consequences of this natural disaster.

Hate Begets Violence

Why is humanity living on the edge? What motivates folks to not do the right thing and promote society’s wrongs. What is going on here? Does it take many major stories that have an impact? How many more should we abhor?

Why haven't human beings learned that hate begets violence? It means that haters promote violence, in return. This phrase has been used since at least the 1830s.

Like Facebook, YouTube and Twitter lean on contractors and automation to clean up these platforms, but some still see it as their mission to report nightmarish content.

Social media platforms are growing in numbers and, with the increased use of mobile devices, they are likely to reach 3 billion users. Therefore, it is time to deal with online terrorism causing Internet chaos in all its evil forms.

The top platforms aren’t the only places considering how to handle violent extremism. And traditional moderation doesn’t affect smaller sites where some promote videos or praise shooters.
