Winter Storm

Forecasters are calling it Damon and some say it was more like a daemon, because the devil is in the detail.

It arrived by pushing a steady mix of wind and cold rain that flooded coastal and inland areas, while making it dangerous to travel.

The rain was heavy enough to flood parts of the Bronx River Parkway. NY State Police wants motorists to exercise due care when traveling the roadways: A wintery mix is expected to continue throughout the day making all roadways slick and unpredictable. Allow adjustments to your schedule to ensure safe travel or simply avoid unnecessary travel.
