While most human beings breathe in polluted air, it is taking away a couple of years from our global collective life expectancy.

Air pollution affects every organ in our body. The contamination of the indoor or outdoor environment by any chemical, physical or biological agent modifies the natural characteristics of the atmosphere. Household combustion devices, motor vehicles, industrial facilities, and forest fires are common sources of air pollution.

Have you noticed athletes competing on TV with their decoration of cupping therapy skin marks all over their toned bodies?

These marks are making it much easier for the sports broadcaster to recognize the right swimmer in their lane. Funny enough, we thought those circles were another invention, to make swimmers swim faster.

Not so, cupping therapy is an ancient alternative medicine, increasingly popular amongst athletes. It helps to ease pain, muscle inflammation, blood issues, and relaxation.

World Bee Day is celebrated every year on May 20 because on this day Anton Janša, the pioneer of beekeeping, was born in 1734.

The purpose of international day is to acknowledge the role of bees as pollinators for the global ecosystem. Consistently on this day, the public should be focused on the significance of saving honey bees.

To learn about the importance of World Bee Day I decided to be with my well-behaved neighbors on City Island, New York.

This is why should rub your car windshield with a potato. How many times have woke up to find a cold frozen car windshield?

My old friend, who I like o call Brother Moon says this not only is delaying the departure to our destination, but it is a nuisance and a hassle.  Our options are to scrape off the ice or deice the windshield with a store-bought or homemade deicer or use a cut piece of potato. https://youtu.be/AErz6zswKxc
