After the first Omicron case was found in California, 10 cases are reported including New York, Minnesota, Hawaii, and Colorado.

The Omicron variant of SARS-CoV-2 is the latest strain of the coronavirus to be designated a "variant of concern" by the World Health Organization: more nations are reporting cases, and it has an unusual combination of mutations that may spread.

Harvest Moon 2021

The Harvest Moon this year in 2021 is spectacular in many ways. Harvest moons are full moons that occur once a year when sister moon is closest to the autumnal equinox, which is the beginning of Autumn or Fall, usually on Sept. 22 or 23. This year's harvest moon arrives tonight September 20 and will appear exactly opposite the sun at 7:54 p.m.

Mark your calendar because if you miss it tonight,  you will have to wait 12 months to see the light of this silvery moon before it returns once again.

Russian Propaganda

Doubts continue to mount about the Russian Sputnik V COVID vaccine's efficacy dissipated somewhat last year within Scientists.

The technology used for Sputnik V was reportedly similar to the approach from Johnson & Johnson and AstraZeneca. The Russians reported It uses adenoviruses, essentially cold viruses, as vectors to ferry genetic instructions for the coronavirus-like protein to the body’s cells, causing the immune system to makes antibodies to this protein and thereby conferring protection.

The very first total Lunar eclipse in a couple of years happens to coincide with a #Supermoon tomorrow for a cosmic show.

The definition of a #Supermoon varies, but it's generally defined by how close the moon approaches the Earth. May's supermoon will also be the first total lunar eclipse since January 2019.
