The excessive demand for NYC living spaces allows landlords to neglect their properties.

Each year, New York City's Public Advocate publishes a list of the city's worst landlords to warn prospective tenants of such property owners. In 2023, the landlord at the top of the list had an average of 2,980 violations across his 15 buildings.

This does not list the shitting chitty bang bang management companies.

Climate change grabs the USA by the throat. The mog hampered our lives throughout Asia. Now it’s followed us to America.

Some experts and elected officials say our leaders responded very slowly to the wildfire smoke that pushed air quality to historically unhealthy levels.

I was curious about the following phrase throughout my early years as a young journalist, first in Miami, then in NY, DC, and LA.

When the going gets tough, the tough get going” idiom emphasizes that when conditions become difficult, strong people take action. Strong-willed, adamant, aggressive go-getting, grittily, gutsy, pertinacious, pigheadedly, and purposefully.

Watch these video models. The miracles began 100 million years ago in the midst of the breakup of the supercontinent Pangaea.

At the beginning of the animation, the continents that will become Africa and South America are already recognizable, with the Northern Hemisphere continents coming together tens of millions of years later. Blue shows the flow of water, while red shows the intensity of the deposition of new sediments by erosion.

It may seem like success for most Americans earning a six-figure salary, but it feels more like five figures at the end of the year.

Do you know how far your money goes? Well, it depends on where you live. In a central metropolitan area, that annual six-figure paycheck is reportedly worth just $36,000, after taxes and accounting for the steep cost of living.

According to an analysis of 76 of the largest US cities, that is, to see where $100,000 goes furthest
