POTUS 45

American Caudillo?

The national USA election has been the nastiest in a century and is still undeclared with a tighter competition than expected between Donald Trump and Joe Biden. The victory is now in the hands of some five key states that continue to count the ballots, a process that could take some time.

A Caudillo is an idealistic man exercising political and military power with dictatorships in their countries without popular support. An individual who foments discord and thrives on it. He wins by dividing in ways that will remain long after he’s gone.

POTUS Crashing

POTUS is in BIGLY trouble but some journalists aren’t overtly covering his desperation. The Donald rails against the press because of what he says is unfair media coverage.

His 20K lies and innumerable attacks against his adversaries are finally catching up to him as political karma, which is a bitch. This is a man who uses The Bible as a prop and rarely goes to church.

Donald Dope Becomes Daffy Doofus

The pressure is on for the GOP because they bet on the worst possibility and placed their trust in the egomaniac.  Now that their part is deteriorating fast, Republican Senate majority leader Mitch McConnell admits he could lose control, Lindsey Graham desperately feels the same heat, and Senator Ted Cruz, who is not up for re-election has nevertheless read the writing on the wall sounded the alarm, saying the election will be a “Bloodbath” for Republicans.

GOP Political Humiliation

Do you recall that Trump refused to participate in the second televised debate on #ABC and then went on to secure a TV Town Hall with #NBC, which carried it on not one network, but three? He said he would humiliate #JoeBiden with the ratings, as three networks would surely garner more viewers than one. WRONG. He was humiliated and has not said another word.

Now he is saying that when he loses the election, he will leave the country. Do we wonder where he will wander off to, Russia or North Korea?

Over Done Crazy Uncle Don?

There’s good news and bad news. As the USA keeps crying uncle, Mother 🌏 Earth has not spun off its axis yet and American democracy will not come crashing down, at least not until Election Day. Meanwhile, The US has reportedly reached 8 million #Covid-19 cases, and the pace of new infections signals a tough winter, while POTUS says no masks are necessary.

DJT Herd Immunity

Have you heard about a POTUS preposterous plan of herd immunity? At the present rate of 50K infections per day in the USA today it translates to mass murders and it means that if we wait until a large number of people contract the #Coronavirus and hope they recover, millions will have died.

Ask yourself if your Governor is practicing heard immunity by allowing seniors and minorities to become infected and may die? All elected representatives should decry Trump’s coronavirus lack of a response, or to lay out a plan for international cooperation.

The Wizard of Loss

In Journalism school, one famous professor always said, “You tell big stories with small pictures.” For a modest glimpse into how President Donald J. Trump, created the impression that he is a smart businessman we find clear evidence 50 miles from Manhattan.

Wish You Weren't Here

While Americans wish POTUS a speedy recovery, some were probably wishing and hoping he would have stayed at the hospital.

Unfortunately, the USA political landscape is littered with disinformation and increasing foreign interference, and the free press must learn to navigate a dangerous digital landscape to truthfully report on each candidate and engage voters especially young people who traditionally stay away from the polls on Election Day.

Donald’s Double D

No, we are not talking about his round double d size, we are referring to Deceptions and Distractions this time around, folks.

A majority of Americans think Trump could have avoided infection if he had taken the virus more seriously, according to multiple polls. After doctors diagnosis misled the free world about POTUS #Covid19 treatment in an attempt to deceive or distract from his real symptoms, he lost credibility with many voters, including journalists and public health officials.

Why I don’t like Donald Trump

By Carlos Alberto Montaner

I don’t like Trump, first of all, because I don’t like his character as an arrogant and oppressive person (a bully) who lies or exaggerates. “Trumpologists” estimate that he has said more than twenty thousand lies, deformations of reality, or “post-truth.”

I don’t like Trump because in a civilized debate you don’t constantly interrupt or shout at your adversary but contribute ideas. The first debate with Biden was an embarrassing circus. Those are not proper gestures or messages of a United States president.
