Finally, it is beginning to happen after all this time. The USA political party preferences shifted greatly during the previous year 2021.

When I because an American citizen, I was asked by an immigration official which party I wanted to register, Republican, or Democrat. I asked if there were other options. The response was a warning. Yes, but you will not be able to vote during primaries.

Eric Clapton's fans are turning their backs and changing their tracks, while he has no one to blame but himself. Clapton has apparently never been satisfied with his musical association or likes to move on and changing his song. He has gone from being called a God to a Dog.

Columbus or Indigenous Peoples Day? It no longer matters because I was born on October 12, before Nixon changed it to a Monday.

My birthday still comes on the 12th, but it is no longer Columbus, or Indigenous Peoples Day. Meanwhile, a growing number of municipalities have been slowly replacing Columbus Day with Indigenous Peoples Day.

POTUS polls claim President Biden's approval ratings have declined, likely in response to the avalanche of problematic press coverage of the disorderly withdrawal from Afghanistan and the apparent infinity of the pandemic. Biden's approval is still just ahead of the highest level Trump reached after the first week of his presidency. But this column is about the problem of media polls. It's also not about how most polls have gone wrong in the last election, but how some of them are always wrong, and what that should mean for news organizations.
