US politics feels like a fight to the death between well-meaning patriots out to defend the good of the country and madmen who aim to destroy it. As @TheDemocrats continue to represent forgotten Americans, they will keep voting for real representation. Taxpayers and registered voters, it's now time to wake up and smell reality. The truth is that Democrats will always continue to be advocates for the common man.

These past years were an American disaster orchestrated by a chaotic and toxic person who habitually seeks to harm and intimidate anyone perceived as vulnerable. Stopping it is a necessary ethical building block of society.

On this day 110 years ago, New Yorkers got their first peek at the New York Public Library @nypl and their twin lion guards.

When EC Potter was given the commission to sculpt two flanking animals for the New York Public Library’s main branch at 5th Avenue and 42nd Street in 1910, he found himself fielding several suggestions. Former President and avid hunter Theodore Roosevelt declared he’d like to see bison. This was not easy.

He has had many exhibitions in the United States as well as in Latvia, France, Mexico, Norway, and Russia. He has lectured throughout the U.S. on his own technique of photochemical painting he terms the “PhotoTern.” An article on his process appeared in the July/August 1986 issue of Darkroom Photography Magazine.

In less than a week, 18 people have been killed during two mass shootings by 21-year-old men who recently purchased weapons. The suspect in the latest shooting killed 10 in Colorado is now sitting in county jail and charged with 10 counts of first-degree murder.
