As a longtime New Yorker, a former AP Bureau Chief, and a practicing Christian who attended Catholic schools I object, dear Lord.

William Donohue is also known as Billiy The Bully and claims the nearly $500,000 raise he received was part of an exit package approved by the board. However, he is still on the job and continues trying to bully the free press and specifically AP, my alma mater.  https://www.eurasiareview.com/20042023-nyc-is-indeed-crime-ridden-oped/

#WeThePeople media has dropped a long way down the rabbit hole from the $64K Question to the $787.5 Million Dollar Answer.

The big-money quiz show that spawned a rash of copycats in the mid-1950s was none other than "The $64,000 Question." Someone recalled the $64 question--the top prize offered on the show and the idea to expand that figure to $64,000 for the TV version.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WYqoOaB9Teg

The Fairness Doctrine

Once upon a time in The United States of America, the media broadcasts on the air belonged to the American public.

Then Congress became concerned that the monopoly audience control of the three main networks, NBC, ABC, and CBS, could misuse their broadcast licenses to set a biased public agenda. The Fairness Doctrine mandated broadcast networks devote time to contrasting views on issues of public importance. https://www.fcc.gov/

Should the FCC’s Fairness Doctrine be Reinstated?
