Horse Meat

Submitted by ub on

After getting nothing but horse sh-t from Congress for years, The US House Appropriations Committee has taken a step toward allowing horse slaughter in America by defeating a ban on horse meat inspections by the Agriculture Department.

Horse meat is popular in only a few countries, notably in Central Asia, but it forms a significant part of the culinary traditions of many others, from Europe to South America.

A young American boy has found himself caught in the middle of an immigration quagmire after a judge ruled the immigrant child, who was abandoned by his father ought to get a green card under a special status created by Congress in 1990.

Dear Mr. President

Dear Mr. President-

Democracy is not a joke. It’s something we must work hard at and are tremendously proud of. We all want it to last, which is why you must treat it accordingly.

It is not just enough to say America first, but you must match your words with actions and represent all Americans. If you put any of us last; it’s a tragic, sad affair.

Our lives are consumed by the logistics of running our households, managing careers and caring for our families. This great nation provides the foundation for everything that we and our forefathers have built together.

What have you done for the US lately?
You have a GOP majority in Congress and WH.

Filling your pockets with payoffs does not drain the swamp in the US.

Have you ever asked what you can do for your country?

Puttering with Golf balls does nothing for the US.

Playing a blame gets nothing done for the US.

Do nothing Congress has kept their reputation intact as it controls the actions or better yet, government inaction.

American Healthscare

It's beginning to look like the USA will have a long hot wait while more American voters begin exercising their political muscles. The US House of Representatives has approved a new plan, which government officials at CBO have yet to vet.

This has a long way to go before it becomes law, but in the coming months, once it is reviewed by The Congressional budget office and tweaked by members of The US Senate, it can then become the law of the land to replace the Affordable Care Act, aka Obamacare.
