Former Vice President Joe Biden defeated President Donald Trump by millions of ballots and everyone knows it. Any Republican who voted for and defends POTUS is having regrets or looks stupid every day day until he fades away. He took voters from hatred of government to contempt for rational deliberation to disdain for Democracy and our electoral process.

We cannot defeat an enemy without fully learning his identity.  The disappointment, sadness, fear, or hate some people may be currently experiencing are not enemies. Righteous anger may be the best tool we can have at our disposal to overcome those other feelings if we exert anger mindfully.

Our real enemy, I believe, has been our inability to accept our present-day existential reality —whether all of us can survive as a free nation— and, as a result of that knowledge, to fully trust ourselves in order to effect real, extraordinary change.

As I approach yet another birthday and prepare to sing a sad song of a year of unnecessary hardships and COVID fear, my conclusion is that not everyone admits being attracted to sugar, spice, and everything nice. Some folks prefer wine, and sarcasm, in order to survive so it is suffice.

The following should be required reading. ‘IF’ was written by an Indian born, English Nobel Laureate poet and journalist named Joseph Rudyard Kipling. It can serve as the ultimate inspiration that tells all of us how to deal with different phases in life and helps us to become better people.

The poem, written in 1895 and first published in ‘Rewards and Fairies’, 1910 is 32 lines long with four stanzas of eight lines each. It is a tribute to Leander Starr Jameson. The poem is written in the form of paternal advice to the poet’s son, John.

It's difficult to fathom that 19 years ago nearly 3000 human beings were enjoying their last day of life in NYC. 9/11 Memories.

The greatest teacher ever became famous for educating children virtually and accomplished his task extremely well. I met Fred Rogers while working as an NBC News producer. He was so kind to me and took the time to send a message to my two lovely 😊 daughters Natasha and Sabrina. https://lnkd.in/gwdj7yB

Mr. Rogers was honest, sincere, and truly had the best words. He was a Real Stable Genius! https://lnkd.in/ghvX5cM #DONews

Censorship occurs when a government or a special interest does not want people to know the truth. It creeps up in different ways, including speech, books, music, films, and other arts, the press, radio, television, and the Internet for a variety of claimed reasons including national security, to control obscenity, and hate speech, to protect vulnerable groups, restrict political or religious views, and to prevent slander and libel.

The Beatles were a British rock band formed in Liverpool, England back in 1960. The group, whose best-known line-up comprised John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, and Ringo Starr, are regarded as the most influential band of all time.

‘Oh yeah, all right are you going to be in my dreams tonight? And in the end, the love you take. Is equal to the love you make.’

Ideally, it would be great to live in a Utopian society where this statement is true. But the fact is many people who blindly love are either not loved in return or are taken advantage of.

Are we celebrating the birth of Democracy in the USA  or mourning the demise of the American Republic? Why does Trump keep using his bully pulpit dog whistle events to sic supporters on mostly peaceful protesters? Does this NY Daily News graphic show our best POTUS worried?

While folks like to spend the Fourth of July at barbecues with friends and family and maybe watching fireworks displays during a celebrated day off from work, things are different today.
