The Russians were coming, came and left. Afterwards the American military gave it a long costly attempt, and now reportedly, China?

Nearly 20 years later and a countless loss of life with an alarming cost of trillions since US troops invaded Afghanistan to oust the Taliban and attack al-Qaida, Americans are advancing a final withdrawal.

The Communists are celebrating their centenary. This is the centenary year of the birth of the Chinese Communist Party.

July first is the Chinese Communist Party day to celebrate its centenary. For all those nations in the North, South, East, or West which may be expecting a retirement or its eventual demise, they’re advised not to bet on it. The Chinese Communist Party is here to stay.

POTUS wraps up his first trip abroad since taking office, an eight-day mission to rebuild trans-Atlantic ties with NATO after they were strained during the past years and to reframe relations with WAPS Warsaw Pact nations. Experience and intelligence matter more than buffoonery.

Following the last meeting, Russia’s dictator emerged from the Helsinki summit smirking like the cat that swallowed the canary. There was no such grin this time. Vlad was subdued and far from triumphant. He tried attacking the USA but not Biden.

There is a new Sheriff in town and his name is POTUS. This one is much different than the last one who bowed to Putin. President Joe Biden has announced from The Whitehouse that he has leveled an array of sanctions against the Russian government for placing bounties on USA troops, its attempted interference in the 2020 American presidential election, occupation of the Crimea, and other malign activities by the Communists.

A Day of Infamy

The biggest lesson of a pandemic is that our leadership needs to tell the truth, no matter how hard it is for the public to listen and learn.

1/20/2020 A day that will live in infamy once a history of the coronavirus pandemic is written. On that infamous day, a Washington state male who returned from a stay with his family in Wuhan in China was the first one in the USA to be diagnosed with the coronavirus. https://www.nejm.org/doi/full/10.1056/NEJMoa2001191
