FRIDAY, SATURDAY, MONDAY

Submitted by ub on

It's the most anticipated shopping day of the year and everyone I spoke with has mentioned this in a hyped up kind of way. Even before the Thanksgiving meals were digested, shoppers were gearing up as New York retailers got a jump on $ALE$.

So-called door-buster sales normally featured on the day after Turkey Day, are already in full swing. What is going on here? Long lines, hours extended, cash registers ringing.

Next up is Small Business Saturday and then Cyber Monday. Holidaze Hype!

Be prepared for confrontations with aggressive shoppers and exhausted store clerks!

From the east side to the west side, dazzling displays to brilliant bulbs, sparkling city skylines to mesmerizing megawatt-lined drives, when these destinations for holiday lights flip their switches, they mark an even more spectacular holiday season, guaranteeing spectators a sparkling dose of over-the-top seasons greetings.

HOLIDAY SEASON IN NYC

Submitted by ub on

The Big Apple turned festive today with the arrival of Santa Claus at Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. The holiday atmosphere is now in full bloom. Next up the Rockefeller Center Christmas tree lights turned on November 30.

The City is most beautiful during this time of year, with the twinkling lights along Fifth Avenue, those decorated store windows and the world famous Rockettes.

Last but not least, a global media celebration on New Year's Eve in the crossroads knows as Times Square, NYC.
