NY PRESS PROTESTS NYPD

The NYPD's media backlash has had it's consequences for the police department: Some 13 news organizations, including AP, ABC, CBS and NBC, have demanded the practice must stop.

Journalists working for The Associated Press and The Daily News were arrested while taking notes. Another radio reporter was arrested as she recorded several blocks from Zoccotti Park.

Officials say today was the busiest travel day of the year nationwide, but they also warn that Wednesday will probably bring NYC to a grinding gridlock status, which is bound to go down in the traffic jam record-books.

Most people do not take these words seriously, as they do not know what they mean, or do not consider them as useful and effective.
