Larry Davis is stepping down as NYC's second-highest official at the Department of Correction. An internal investigation may reveal unauthorized vehicle use and excessive overtime for an officer.

Mr. Davis reportedly suspended himself on Friday, and is leaving after working for DOC for more than three decades.

He had previously come under fire over reported allegations that he took Caribbean vacations paid for by his subordinates. Davis was not available for comment. Michael Hourihane will replace Davis as chief of the DOC.

BISTRO SK

City Island's French BISTRO SK is a welcome addition to the mix of eateries in this charming nautical community. Formerly doing business as Tree House, the restaurant's new owner Stephane Kane was drawn here by our diversity and truly enjoys this City Island avenue location.
