Has the world forgotten that we are all connected much closer than we realize? We hear all about #Houston, but not much about floods and landslides that have killed hundreds in #Africa #Macau and #South Asia.

Our hearts go out to all the people who are suffering everywhere on earth. Global warming is serious and we're all in this together, folks. It's one planet for all the people of the world.

The US Mexico Wall

After promising that Mexico would pay, and when the government refused his demands for a proposed border wall, POTUS is now threatening a government shutdown over funding.

Who ever heard of anyone buying into a plan in which the specifics have never been revealed? That is what politicians think Americans are going to do. However, according to statistics, many taxpayers are mad as hell and will not take it anymore.

Disaster relief is the priority for Congress as they return from a vacation some say they did not deserve to take. The Chief of Staff was accused, then it was thought The Special Advisor, but since they are both gone, along with The Press Secretary and others... Flynn, Dubke, Shaub, Corallo, Spicer, Priebus, Scaramucci, Bannon, Gorka and the hits just keep on going as the list of departed staffers from Trump's White House keeps growing longer.

Late on Friday as news of Hurricane Harvey was intensifying another legal hurricane could also have been developing. Convicted former Arizona official Joe Arpaio was pardoned two months before the former Maricopa County sheriff was to be sentenced for federal criminal contempt.

Horrendous Harvey

This massive storm is testing the spirits of folks deep in the heart of Texas. As deaths continue to increase as a result of Harvey, this once a century storm has dumped more rain in a widespread part of southeast Texas which has so far received double digits of rain, with some locations passing 25 inches.

And why is the destruction of the past being repeated as the flood threat from #Harvey is now spreading into Louisiana? Roads have become rivers in #Houston and surrounding areas. At least 30 inches of rain so far and thousands of rescue calls to officials.

Hellish Hurricane
