About 2.5 million tenants in NYC will soon be forced to pay higher rents. Members of NYC Rent Guidelines Board have just approved a 3.75% increase for one year leases and 7.25 for those with two year contracts.

The weather held up long enough to allow the different religious representatives from several of City Island's congregations to gather at one of our local marinas. This community attraction does not receive the recognition, which it deserves. Vendors will be selling some fantastic cuisine, and City Island Images hopes that Bronx residents come out and stroll around, take a look at some of the wares, and taste some of the delicious foods.
