GREEN JOBS/ GREEN NEW YORK

Tomorrow, Bronx Borough President Ruben Diaz Jr. will join Deputy Borough President Aurelia Greene, the Bronx Overall Economic Development Corporation (BOEDC), NYSERDA, and environmental group Sustainable South Bronx will launch the Green Jobs/Green New York Bronx Outreach Program (GJ/GNY-Bronx).

The goal of the GJGNY-BX Program is to reduce energy usage in Bronx buildings and lower energy costs for Bronx home and building owners.

Amtrak is currently holding all eastbound Amtrak Northeast Corridor trains (that travel between New York and Boston) in Penn Station, New York, due to signal issues on Metro North's New Haven Line. Starting today, children will find some cool new choices on their restaurant menus. These choices will also make the adults happy.

More than 15,000 restaurants in the USA representing 19 chains, including the likes of Burger King, I-HOP, Cracker Barrel, Chili's, Denny's and others are participating in a voluntary new initiative called Kids LiveWell.
