Three Blind Mice

Submitted by ub on

According to government scientists, earth's climate continues to change throughout history. In 650,000 years there have been seven cycles of glacial advance and retreat, with the abrupt end of the last ice age about 7,000 years ago marking the beginning of the modern climate era and of human civilization. Most of these climate changes are attributed to very small variations in Earth’s orbit that change the amount of solar energy our planet receives.

US Coal Shoulder

President Trump and his GOP co-conspirators are desperately trying to change the growing narrative of a criminal investigation, while world leaders are now pointing at crimes against nature.

Will air pollution trump a global necessity for clean air, pure drinking water? Should we hurry before time runs out? Try and catch the wind. https://youtu.be/J8hjEYTpwE8?list=RDJ8hjEYTpwE8

Latinos are mostly interested in immigration and get what they need while watching the news on Univision and Telemundo, the two Spanish-language broadcast networks which inform nearly 57 million US Hispanics. http://www.telemundo.com/noticias http://www.univision.com/noticias

As a crossover journalist, who worked as a news executive for both media giants as well as in general market English-language media, the comparison between the two formats offers parallel worlds with different viewpoints. http://abcnews.go.com/US http://www.cbsnews.com/

The number of "Bad Hombre" labels given to immigrant “criminals” who are being targeted by Immigration and Customs Enforcement, should only apply to approximately half. From the total number who've been arrested during the latest detention and deportation raids. Half of those had traffic convictions, or no criminal records whatsoever, according to the federal government.

ICE data shows half of the immigrants arrested in raids had traffic convictions or no record. http://wapo.st/2oH4AZm?tid=ss_tw

Wall of Words

President Trump has sparked a war of words over his signed executive orders mandating the construction of the wall and a mandate for internal immigration enforcement while punishing sanctuary cities.

The Mexican president has officially rebuffed president Trump over his border wall executive order and in an increasing wall of words over his insistence on a billion dollar boondoggle, President Trump is vowing to also crack down on hundreds of US cities which protect undocumented immigrants.

VOX POP

Following a long political primary and a toxic Camp Pain that has left our nation divided, Republican Donald Trump won the Electoral College after hurling vicious attacks against his opponents and too many others to mention. http://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2016/01/28/upshot/donald-trump-twitt…

His main opponent Hillary Clinton won the popular vote but she lost the election because of the Electoral College. Our Founding Fathers may not have realized how undemocratic our Electoral College has evolved.

These are reportedly the latest and most up to date figures. Holding the first position among the world's most dangerous cities with 300,000 or more inhabitants is Caracas with a rate of 119.87 homicides per 100,000 inhabitants.

Having had the first for four consecutive years, San Pedro Sula (111.03) moved into second place, to achieve a significant decrease in the number of homicides.

San Salvador, a city I know all too well landed in the third position (108.54), Acapulco fourth (104.73) and the fifth to Maturin (86.45).

#ChasingCleveland makes sure you take the time to read the US Constitution and keep it handy next to your Bible because you're going to need them if fat cats like Christie gain any more political power and influence.

The poor people of New Jersey are already seeing it up close and personal. And if Trump gets elected, poor US.

SMELL OF ENERGY?

Submitted by ub on

Global scientific researchers are suggesting that manure may save the world from destruction, along with other crap humans routinely generate and throw away.

The message is loud and clear. Humans have long been producing a shit load of excrement and we have mistakenly been thinking that this crap is useless.

Feces power alone will not solve the world's energy challenges. But it looks like our European neighbors have woken up and smelled the aroma, realizing there no point letting all that crap go to waste.

The health of our planet may well depend on it.
