This is a good example of two political rivals showing consideration for one another. Here is a Richard Nixon telegram to John F Kennedy after he was hospitalized with a knee injury and JFK had informed him that he would not campaign until Nixon recovered.
This was 60 years ago today and that was then. Do we expect Republicans to run a clean campaign on their record and their top priorities and what they plan to do for all Americans?
instead, the GOP is trying to inflame racial tensions and incite violence to benefit their campaign after POTUS praised supporters who clashed with peaceful protesters during a deadly night in Portland, Oregon.
Using fear and white victimhood as political weapons have grown old and its time to grow up. When POTUS got onto the stage to accept the Republican nomination for president at The White House, he got his supporters to chant "12 more years," not "four more years." It topped frightening campaigning tactics, which are illegal and should never be accepted under the rule of law, known as The US Constitution.
Campaigns should not be political attacks. Each candidate should promote their vision and not attack the other party platform.
