GOP POTUS Ronald Reagan should be the hero of the Republican Party. He was known as the great communicator.
His leadership put in motion the end of the Soviet Union, winning the Cold War, peace through strength, advocating for a smaller government and more responsible citizens, and sparking the conservative revival in American politics that has shaped our political landscape for decades now.
Reagan was the last real President we have had in the United States. If George H. W. Bush had maintained his economic policies, we would never have had another Democrat in office.
Reagan was everything a president should be: an independent thinker, a diplomat, aggressive, and honest. Above all, he had honesty and respect for the office.
Meanwhile, POTUS said he is ending “all trade negotiations” with Canada over an Ontario TV ad with anti-tariff messaging that quoted former Republican president Ronald Reagan.
Earlier Thursday night, the Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation and Institute said the ad “misrepresents the ‘Presidential Radio Address to the Nation on Free and Fair Trade’ dated April 25, 1987.”
