Uvalde SWAT Team talked about training on social media, but where were they during the hour of need? The training reportedly included time to "familiarize themselves with layouts of our local schools” but then they went AWOL?
The police said they did not want the public to be alarmed when seen in full gear while visiting schools. The SWAT team went on to say they “will continue working together to make Uvalde the safest place to live.”

I lived nearby in Valverde County while building a TV station in Eagle Pass. I can tell you the entire region has multiple law enforcement units in the area beside the Uvalde police department.
It is unclear if SWAT was at Robb Elementary School while it was being attacked by a lone gunman who killed 19 children and two teachers. According to social media posts, police stood outside the school during the massacre preventing parents from entering the school. Onlookers present shouted at the police to “Go in there!
