They signed on to a Human Rights Campaign letter "vocally opposing" the anti-LGBTQ+ legislation.

This guy is just another member of the Republican Party, who began dividing America while he represented Florida's 6th congressional district in the U.S. House of Representatives from 2013 to 2018. Then was elected toled the state in a downward spiral and as a candidate in the 2024 United States presidential election, he has delusions of grandeur.

The Walt Disney Company reportedly followed suit and publicly opposed the legislation after its employees staged walkouts. The entertainment goliath's former chief executive Bob Chapek said the company was pausing political contributions in Florida and was working to overturn the law.

According to published reports, in the first weeks of July, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis’ campaign team laid off several staff members, circulated a strategy memo, and began scheduling interviews with mainstream media outlets in what was described in the press as a “shake-up” and “reset” meant to reassure donors and other figures within the Republican Party that his campaign remains viable despite its slowly but steadily declining poll numbers. Since January, DeSantis’ support among GOP primary voters in RealClearPolitics’ national polling average has fallen from 31 percent to 19 percent.
