Eugenio María de Hostos Community College of The City University of New York invites The Bronx neighborhood residents.

Hostos is a public community college located in the South Bronx Borough of New York City, New York.

We are reaching out to extend a formal invitation to you for our upcoming Veterans Hall of Fame 2024 Induction Ceremony event.
 
This year we are proud to honor two Korean War Veterans. NY State Senate and Hostos Community College Office of Veterans Affairs will be hosting a special induction ceremony tribute to commemorate the service and sacrifice of these two honorees who have bravely served in the Army. We would be honored to have you join us for this meaningful occasion. 

The event will take place on Tuesday, July 9th at the Savoy Multi-Purpose Room, Located in the D Building. Address is 120 E. 149th Street Bronx NY 10451 (Corner of 149th St and Walton Ave.). Begins at 11:00 AM. 
 
We believe that your presence will help make the event even more special as we come together to honor and remember our heroes who have served our country.

Dignitaries presenting the awards will be NYS Senator Serrano & NYS Senator Fernandez
Inductees: Korean War Veterans being honored Julio Feliu & Jose Rivera-Carrion

The Veterans Hall of Fame Induction event will feature keynote speakers from the NY State Senate and a special recognition ceremony for our inducted Veterans. It will be a time for reflection, remembrance, and gratitude as we pay tribute to these two brave men who have made incredible sacrifices during the Korean War and fought for South Korean freedom.  We understand that your schedule may be full but, if you are available, we would be honored to have you join us for this important event. Lunch and refreshments will be served.
