Lifelong Friendships

Submitted by ub on

Our lifelong friends represent a set of experiences and it is only by this special relationship that a brand new world is born.

Lifelong friendships are rare and that's part of what makes them so very special. We were not meant to have the same set of friends throughout our entire lives.

We move to different places, we change jobs, and we may drift apart socially, politically, or otherwise. Sometimes we outgrow each other and that's normal.

It has been said that we become somewhat like the people we spend most of our time around, which means that choosing our friends is important not only for our overall happiness but also for helping us become our ideal selves.

Some friends are a part of our life for only a moment, while others remain by our side for years. So how do we tell which friends are going to stick around, and which will play only a small role in the narrative of our life? Will they become blind faith followers of a strange political cult or be open to individual independence?

While American friends and neighbors celebrate Labor Day we also mark the end of the Summer and we start an intense period of political campaigning.

The next two months probably won’t bring the partisan clashes you’d expect in a presidential election but the USA should brace for 2024.

However, due to those forces of evil who wish to divide, the tone is already growing nasty day by day as friends and neighbors who should take time to play, must also pray for our democracy which is in a state of the fray.
