The phrase man bites dog is an aphorism in journalism of an unusual, infrequent event that is reported as news rather than every day.

The phenomenon exists as unusual events that have routine outcomes. But when a man bites another man? According to published reports.

He once reportedly leaned over to a colleague and took a BITE OF THE ARM ENOUGH TO LEAVE MARKS THROUGH HIS SHIRT.

He may not have the magic bullet but he certainly has some serious chops.  Could be good for CNN, though.
