The Westchester City of New Rochelle is set to receive $16 million in for LINC project connecting neighborhood to the downtown area.
According to published reports, a historic New Rochelle neighborhood is reconnecting to its roots after decades of separation.
Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) and Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand announced Monday the city will receive $16 million via the Inflation Reduction Act to transform a portion of the six-lane Memorial Highway into a walkable street and elevated park area called the LINC.
