Reporters from CNN, MS NOW and Politico were denied access to the White House on Saturday after President Donald Trump announced Friday that he was banning the organizations, accusing them of publishing what he called “fake news.”
The outlets said their journalists' credentials were confiscated. The organizations have indicated they may challenge the action, citing First Amendment protections. The White House has previously restricted access by other news organizations, including The Associated Press. AP News
