Australian authorities uphold decision to cancel Serbian Novak Djokovic’s visa. An Australian Federal Court panel has dismissed Djokovic's appeal after he challenged Immigration Minister Alex Hawke’s decision to cancel his visa.
The high court panel returned their unanimous decision just a day before the World No.1 ranked tennis player was set to play his first match of the Australian Open.

Since he has been deported and will not compete in the tournament. Djokovic said he is “extremely disappointed” by the ruling but will “cooperate with the relevant authorities” regarding his departure from Australia.
