Christians must understand that selling Bibles for political purposes is anathema and that eventually, God will punish them.
Most of those claiming to be Christian and supporting Trump have never read the Bible they own. They should know better!
Profiting from the sale of the Bible for political motives and not for the benefit of society violates a specific Catechism. CCC 2432 says: "Those responsible for business enterprises are responsible to society for the economic and ecological effects of their operations. They must consider the good of persons and not only the increase of profits". Profits derived from public enterprise that only serve the selfish interests of one candidate make one a bad Christian.
He’s playing on the verse of St. John:
