Six decades ago, a young black woman sat down for her rights and won her place in the history books. If she had been a man, she may have gotten into a physical altercation and not accomplish anything.
She says she was tired of giving in, so sixty-one years ago today, Rosa Parks took a stand by keeping her seat and was arrested for not giving up her seat to a white passenger.
