CRIME UPDATE

Submitted by Admin on

Over the past three years, there have only been three days during which there were no murders, slashing, nor stabbings reported from The Bronx, Brooklyn, Manhattan, Queens, or Staten Island.

In fact, as of Monday NYC has enjoyed more than a week without any homicides reported to NYPD in the five boroughs. Could it be the cold temperatures? February of last year saw the city going through ten straight days without a homicide.

The last time The Big Apple went so many days without a single reported homicide was February 2014, when there were no homicide reports for 10 consecutive days, topping a nine-day homicide-free stretch back in 2013.
