POTUS fought the law and the law won. The Trump administration and the courts are back at it again. US Attorney General Jeff Sessions says the DOJ will “take every lawful measure” to defend the decision to terminate the Obama-era DACA program, which offers deportation relief to undocumented immigrants brought to the U.S. as children.
This, following an angry judge's orders that Trump officials to fully restore the DACA program after failing for the second time to convince him there is a valid justification for ending it.
The federal trial judge, John Bates, an appointee of George W. Bush, said government officials acted in an “arbitrary and capricious” manner and he gave them 20 days to decide whether to appeal the ruling.
